These are static shift supervisor roles where you will have the opportunity to lead a team of Engineers and deliver first class services for this prestigious organisation. What you’ll do as Maintenance Shift Supervisor:
In this role you will lead your own team and third-party specialist contractors in the delivery and implementation of the planned preventative maintenance and emergency reactive maintenance across Royal Opera House buildings in Covent Garden. This role based in London will include:
- Supervising own team workloads and meet timescales for all functions.
- Manage and issue Permit to Work paperwork as required.
- Act as point of contact for Estates & Facilities
- Ensure comprehensive records are kept for works completed.
- Ensure Method statements and risk assessments for all works are completed by the team.
- Ensure 3rd party subcontractors are supervised and comply with the site requirements and safe working practices.
- To ensure that all asset data is recorded within the CAFM system and other compliance systems.
Within this role you will be working days and nights, 4 days on, 4 days off, 7-7.
For this Maintenance Shift Supervisor role based in Covent Garden, we are looking for:
- A qualified Mechanical or Electrical Engineer with an NVQ/ City and Guilds level 3 Plumbing and Heating or Level 3 Electrical Installations and 18th edition
- Significant multi skilled experience of building services maintenance within large complex public buildings
- Experience of leading a team and being responsible for engineers and contractors on site
- Experience of working in a continental shift role previously
- Good working knowledge of statutory compliance within a medium to large, diverse, and complex estate.
- Ability to react quickly and positively to situations and to be accountable, reliable and resilient
- People management skills to be able to supervise team members
