This Maintenance Electrician role is a static position and is based on the Strand. You will be working in the day shift team with hours of 8-4 Monday - Friday. If you have had enough of working for a service provider and want a better work life balance and team culture, then this is the role for you! This role is 35 hours per week, 8-4 Monday to Friday. You will also receive 30 days holiday + plus bank holidays!

Within this Static Maintenance role you will be responsible for a variety of electrical maintenance tasks. This will include:
- Undertaking planned preventative electrical maintenance tasks (PPMs) and reactive electrical maintenance in commercial University buildings.
- Working as a dedicated team and reporting to a team leader
- Liaising with sub contractors on site
- Involved in general building services maintenance
To be successful in this role, we are looking for candidates to have the following skills and experience:
Essential criteria
- Level 3 award/certificate in electrical field or equivalent or time serviced apprenticeship (Electrical) and strong, demonstrable competencies in electrical trades. You must be a fully qualified electrician with a level 2 and 3 and 17th / 18th edition.
- Good knowledge of engineering designs, installations, maintenance and repairs
- Good understanding of health and safety processes and policies, ideally with the IOSH
- Effective communication skills in order to convey information clearly
- IT literate (Excel, Teams and Microsoft packages) and ability to work from an iPad
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to offer guidance on requests
