Maintenance Electrician

This Maintenance Electrician role is based on the Strand. You will be working in the day shift team with hours of 8-4 Monday - Friday. If you have had enough of working for a service provider, being on call non stop, working over 40 hours a week, and want a better work life balance, then this is the role for you!

Within this Static Maintenance role you will be responsible for a variety of electrical maintenance tasks. This will include:

  • Undertaking planned preventative electrical maintenance tasks (PPMs) and reactive electrical maintenance in commercial buildings on the Strand. 
  • Working as a dedicated team and reporting to a team leader
  • Liaising with sub contractors on site
  • Involved in general building services maintenance 

To be successful in this role, we are looking for candidates to have the following skills and experience:

Essential criteria

  • Level 3 award/certificate in electrical field or equivalent or time serviced apprenticeship (Electrical) and strong, demonstrable competencies in electrical trades. You must be a fully qualified electrician with a level 2 and 3 and 17th / 18th edition. 
  • Good knowledge of engineering designs, installations, maintenance and repairs
  • Good understanding of health and safety processes and policies, ideally with the IOSH
  • Effective communication skills in order to convey information clearly
  • IT literate (Excel, Teams and Microsoft packages) and ability to work from an iPad 
  • Excellent customer service skills with the ability to offer guidance on requests
