This Grade 8 role is a unique opportunity for a building services Contract Manager to join the Estates team as their newly appointed Infrastructure Manager.

The role
The purpose of this Building Services Infrastructure Manager role is ensuring that Birkbeck have a robust and reliable structure in place for the management of all the service and compliance related contracts within the estates department. The postholder will primarily be responsible for the management of all service contracts and compliance related activities either delivered by a contractor or in house. You will have staff and budget responsibility across Responsive and Long-Term Maintenance (circa £2Million). You will also play a critical key role in the implementation of the colleges Estate Strategy and de-carbonisation projects.
You will be working closely with other departmental managers and senior/ executive level staff with reporting to committees as required and directly to the Deputy Director of Estates.
